How to Participate

Holotropic states of consciousness work utilizes techniques and catalysts to mobilize the inner healing energies. It is the individual's inner wisdom which directs the process bringing to consciousness what is relevant at any given time, especially during a time of critical personal change. Combining an educational component with direct experience, modalilties such as Holotropic Breathwork™, music and sound, wilderness journeys incorporating sensory deprivation/amplification, guided imagery, and meditation techniques may be personally designed.

It is important to note that all endeavors supported by Themis Institute follow the highest ethical protocols. It is essential that personal or spiritual growth and development occur in the safest of settings with trained professionals. Integration and follow-up work is provided for as long as is needed.

Although we regard learning and teaching as interchangeable, individually designed programs are available. Apprenticeship and consultation requirements from the Grof Transpersonal Training may be fulfilled through certified facilitators.
